Le Cahier de la Recherche Africaine est une revue scientifique semestrielle indexée, hébergée à l’université Omar Bongo (Gabon). Son objectif est de promouvoir la recherche universitaire africaine sur la littérature, les langues, l’art, la communication et les sciences humaines. La revue paraît en deux formats : papier et en ligne.

La mémoire collective transatlantique rappelle que dans le nord de la colonie de Saint-Domingue sur l’habitation Lenormand de Mézy à Morne-Rouge non loin du Cap-Français, s’est tenue du 14 au 15 août 1791 une rencontre nocturne d’Africains réduits en esclavage. En dépit de la remise en question de l’historicité de cet événement par certains contradicteurs dont (Hoffman 1992), la mémoire historique identifie cette réunion sous la dénomination - Cérémonie du Bois Caïman. Si les récits qui s’y rapportent comportent souvent des couches de contradictions, la 6e édition du Festival du Souvenir se réfère à l’intérêt politique et mémoriel de cet acte fondateur dans la construction d’une éthique [dé]coloniale.

Cet événement propose d’explorer la poétique de l’oubli comme une force active de transformation, de création et de reconstruction. Il interroge les liens entre oubli, mémoire, langage et littérature, en s’intéressant notamment aux formes esthétiques de l’absence, du silence, de l’effacement et de la fragmentation. La réflexion s’étend aux enjeux politiques et éthiques de l’archive, aux mémoires postcoloniales ainsi qu’aux nouvelles formes d’oubli liées au numérique et à l’intelligence artificielle. L’objectif est de mettre en lumière les différentes manières dont l’oubli peut produire du sens, renouveler les récits du passé et participer à la recomposition des identités.

In the framework of the Hello TEMPUS-Reich 90 event, a special conference-concert within the global 2026 Reich series, we are organizing an interdisciplinary colloquium as a core scientific discourse. The colloquium serves as the central scientific component of the event, taking place in the historic Pesti Vigadó before an audience of 120 people. Reserved, personalized seating will be provided for all colloquium participants. The colloquium is built around the keynote lecture by Professor Simha Arom, the world-renowned ethnomusicologist.

La Jeune équipe associée à l’IRD (JEAI LÉSUM) organise sa première école d’automne internationale, intitulée « Migrations étudiantes et enseignement supérieur en Afrique : Genre, expériences et action publique ». Elle souhaite ainsi favoriser une réflexion collective, portée en particulier par les doctorants et jeunes chercheurs, sur les migrations étudiantes intra-africaines, en mobilisant les apports de la sociologie, de l’anthropologie, des sciences de l’éducation, de la psychologie, de la géographie, de l’économie, du droit, des études de genre et des sciences politiques. Les contributions pourront porter sur des recherches empiriques, des réflexions théoriques, des retours d’expérience ou des innovations méthodologiques.
