The Religion in Society Research Network invites proposals for the Seventeenth International Conference on Religion & Spirituality in Society, to be held 24–25 June 2027, hosted by the University of Grenoble-Alpes, Grenoble, France. The Seventeenth International Conference on Religion & Spirituality in Society brings together researchers, educators, practitioners, writers, religious leaders, and community stakeholders concerned with religion, spirituality, belief, ritual, ethics, and secularism as social, cultural, political, and mediated phenomena. The annual conference serves as a key meeting point for interdisciplinary inquiry into how religious and spiritual practices, institutions, identities, and imaginaries are being reshaped across diverse local and global contexts.

Founded in 2000, the Diversity in Organizations, Communities & Nations Research Network is brought together by a shared interest in human differences and diversity, and their varied manifestations in organizations, communities, and nations. We aim to traverse a broad terrain, sometimes technically and other times socially oriented, sometimes theoretical and other times practical in their perspective, and sometimes reflecting dispassionate analysis while at other times suggesting interested strategies for action. Our aim is to build an epistemic community where we can make linkages across disciplinary, geographic, and cultural boundaries. As a Research Network, we are defined by our scope and concerns and motivated to build strategies for action framed by our shared themes and tensions.

We invite you to join us for the Twenty-Second International Conference on the Arts in Society, the annual meeting of the Arts in Society Research Network, taking place 9–11 June 2027 at the University of Western Australia, Perth, Australia, and online. Hosted by the University of Western Australia, the conference brings together artists, scholars, curators, educators, cultural workers, and policymakers concerned with the roles of the arts in social life, cultural change, and public meaning. The annual conference serves as the Network’s central meeting point for those working across artistic practice, theory, education, and cultural institutions in diverse global contexts.

Ce colloque international se propose de réfléchir aux enjeux sociolinguistiques, psychologiques, didactiques et anthropologiques des parlers vernaculaires au Maroc. Il vise à interroger la transition de l’oralité domestique vers les espaces de légitimation institutionnels, éducatifs, et virtuels à partir d’approches résolument interdisciplinaires (sciences du langage, sciences de l’éducation, anthropologie, humanités numériques). Les contributions porteront sur l’institutionnalisation, les pratiques discursives contemporaines, les rapports entre insécurité linguistique et estime de soi, l’hybridation des codes, ainsi que sur les défis didactiques liés à l’intégration des langues maternelles dans l’enseignement.

This Call for Papers invites contributions spanning from Prehistory and Antiquity, through the Middle Ages, Early Modern, and Modern periods to the Twenty-first Century. We explore borders and sustainability through human and natural resources, water systems, Pre-Columbian and Post-Columbian American histories, island studies like Rapa Nui, endangered and minority languages, and local history.

Les profondes mutations géopolitiques, technologiques et scientifiques que connaît le monde contemporain redéfinissent les conditions de production, de circulation et de valorisation des connaissances. Dans un contexte marqué par l’essor de l’intelligence artificielle générative, la transformation des écosystèmes numériques, les enjeux de science ouverte et la recomposition des équilibres internationaux, les savoirs deviennent un levier majeur de développement, d’influence et de coopération. La diplomatie scientifique apparaît désormais comme un instrument stratégique permettant de renforcer les collaborations internationales, de favoriser le dialogue entre les communautés scientifiques et de construire des réponses collectives aux défis globaux.

The 2027 special focus, “Social Contracts in Transition: Welfare, Work, Globalization,” examines how foundational agreements between states, markets, and citizens are being reshaped under conditions of economic restructuring, technological change, demographic shifts, and global integration. Longstanding models of welfare provision, labor relations, and social protection are under pressure, raising urgent questions about solidarity, responsibility, and inclusion in an increasingly interconnected world.

This project is linked to the Chair of History of Ancient Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo. Its consists of the periodic publication, on an annual basis with some special and monographic issues, of a journal entitled Tiphys. Uomini e culture nel Mediterraneo [Men and Cultures in the Mediterranean Sea]. The journal collects essays by scholars, and the topics can range from history to archaeology and art history, from antiquity to the contemporary era. The second issue of the journal will be dedicated to “Odysseus’s Journey: Nostos and Identity”.

Comment peut-on apprécier la trajectoire entrepreneuriale de l’Afrique ? Quelle est sa véritable courbe d’évolution ? Ne devrait-on pas, pour mieux comprendre le mode d’évolution de ce continent, appréhender, organiser et faire finalement fonctionner l’Afrique comme une entreprise avec des capitaines et des secteurs de production préalablement définis, afin d’inventer un « leadership » économique africain réel et révolutionnaire ? Ne devrait-on, en fin de compte, questionner fondamentalement l’histoire des entrepreneuriats et des formes de leaderships africains afin de permettre à cette partie du monde de mieux faire face aux enjeux et aux défis technologiques, financiers et économiques du monde aujourd’hui ? C’est autour de ces interrogations que ce projet d’ouvrage collectif prend son envol. Il a pour dessein de retracer l’histoire entrepreneuriale de l’Afrique, de repenser l’entreprise et le leadership sur le continent Noir à travers un travail d’analyse, une lecture critique, une étude des enjeux socio-politiques selon une approche visant à proposer des perspectives pour la compétitivité de l’entreprise et des entrepreneurs en Afrique.

The International Conference Awareness, Consciousness and "Ourness" of Spaces invites scholars from a wide range of disciplines to explore how spaces are perceived, experienced, represented, and socially constructed. Building on the concept of "ourness", the conference fosters an interdisciplinary dialogue on belonging, identity, memory, inclusion, exclusion, and the relationships between people, places, and communities.
